Favorite Nail Polishes: Summer

Prior to the last six months, I never ventured beyond my play-it-safe coral color when it came to my nails, deciding to wear different colors was probably the most fun choice I've ever made. I think having freshly painted nails will instantly make you feel more polished and put together. I'm big on painting my own nails, so I always try to pick up a pretty new polish when I see one I like. These are my favorites for Spring or Summer (or just if you're feeling bright nails!) Trina Turk for Banana Republic

 

Summer is typically my favorite time of the year {despite the sweltering temperatures} and maxi dresses and summertime go hand in hand. It is so incredibly easy to throw on a pretty maxi and look effortless. Maxis are a definite go to for the Summer and of course I love this one because it's got such beautiful colors! This dress was from last summer and part of the Trina Turk xx Banana Republic collection. I would check eBay if you are interested in any of the pieces of the collection!

Memorial Day Weekend Recap

I had the most wonderful Memorial Day weekend. The past few days were spent with friends and family out on the water as we enjoyed the three day weekend. I didn't really dress up much over the holiday weekend so I thought I would share a little about what I was up to. What exciting things did you do over the three day weekend?

{I spent Saturday with two of my best girlfriends and we had a breakfast date and went back to one of their houses and took her boat out for the afternoon}

{Sunday night Patrick and I went out to dinner with my parents. My dress is BCBG Max Azria and my shoes are Tory Burch}

 

 



{Monday we took my boat out on Lake Harris and spent the day tubing and swimming! We stopped for lunch and docked our boat at a nearby restaurant. It was tons of fun!}
