 Hope everyone is having a fabulous Monday! Florida Summers last for a good while but I am counting down the days until the cool weather! I love wearing bright colors but I can't wait to reach for my new J. Crew vests and my trusty riding boots! I love Fall! I'm been wearing a lot of neutrals lately, and I think they're for the transition from Summer into Fall. Neutrals look great on everyone and you really can't go wrong with easy, effortless colors. I recently snagged up this sweater at LOFT, and while it's a little toasty to be wearing right now, it will be perfect for a chilly morning. Oh and I'm debuting my new little babies, my shoes of course. I was never a fan of the appearance of the Tory Caroline's but once you slip your foot into one of them... it all changes, so comfy!! Hope your week is off to a great start!

Loafin' Around

 

 

It's finally Friday!! So, I've owned these loafers for quite a few months now and just recently rediscovered them while cleaning out my closet and pictured myself pairing them with a navy striped top (which wasn't hard considering I own way too many) I love the subtle pattern mixing and blue is always one of my go-to colors. Day to Night: Boyfriend Jeans (Part 2)

 

 

 

Happy almost Friday, friends! I'm so thrilled to be showing you this outfit simply because I love every aspect of it. The top is perfect, with it's stripes and sequins, and I love mixing a more dressy piece with a typically more casual piece (boyfriend jeans). The leopard adds to the outfit, too, because it's so unexpected (leopard is totally a neutral in my book though!) This goes to show you that you can definitely make pieces in your wardrobe work for both day and night! I'm headed off to the beach tomorrow morning with my boyfriend for a friend's wedding weekend so I'll be back Monday!

Lazy Sunday Stripes



Happy Sunday, friends! Hope you all are having a fabulous weekend! On a typical Sunday I usually wake up early, grab breakfast with my boyfriend, and we both head off to church! Now once I get home.... real clothes come off and comfy clothes go on. Today I had to run a few errands around town so I decided to slip into this comfy maxi and a plain black tee. Seriously y'all, so comfy! Sidenote- I got this skirt and necklace when I was in Cali at the California Market Center, a 13 story building with about 50 offices on each floor that house showrooms for wholesale buyers {from Nordstrom, Target, Neimans ect.} Once a month, they open the showrooms to the public for sample sales and let me tell ya, it's CRAZY. Because they are not retail stores, they have no dressing rooms and do not provide shopping bags, so it was definitely interesting! I loved the CMC because these items are things buyers are getting for the upcoming seasons.. aka most things there are not available to the public yet so you can find really unique pieces before they hit stores! Hope you all are enjoying a lazy Sunday as well!

Fifty Shades of Blue

Let me first apologize for the fact that I haven't posted in quite some time... It has rained literally every day for the past two weeks and we've had several flood warnings and tropical storms, along with wonderful 95 degree afternoons. {Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Florida weather?!} So I have been dodging the rain to take outfit pictures but I finally managed to take a few today before I went out on a dinner date!
